NRA First Steps Training - This course includes a book, completion certificate, and 3
hours of personalized instruction in either RIFLE, PISTOL, or SHOTGUN. Topics covered in
course include firearm safety, basic marksmanship skills, cleaning, and storage. The cost
of this training program is $120 plus a $10 range fee. This training can be setup at your

hours and covers firearm safety, marksmanship skills, buying and using equipment,
cleaning of firearms, storage of firearms, flashlight techniques, use of cover and
concealment, reloading techniques, justification of the use of deadly physical force
NYS P.L. 35, and basic officer survival skills. There are two mandatory tests, one on
the use of force and the other on shooting skills. The cost is $495 which includes both
classroom and range instruction, and a certificate to apply for your NY State Armed
Guard License. Range fees are $40. Ammunition is NOT included. Group discounts
are available. To reserve your space a $100 non refundable deposit is required.

someone attacks you outside your home. Use of cover and concealment will be
explained. It also covers NYS Penal Law article 35 regarding the use of force. This is a
two day course with many hours spent on the range learning about defensive shooting.
The cost is $250 which includes range fees, a NRA book on Personal Protection, and an
NRA certificate of completion. To reserve a space a $50 nonrefundable deposit is

Force-on-Force Gunfighter Training
This is a one day tactical force-on-force training course. This will be mostly live-fire
tactical training exercises using airsoft type firearms. An Airsoft pistol can be provided to
use in the course for $25.
