NRA First Steps Training - This course includes a book, completion certificate, and 3
hours of personalized instruction in either RIFLE, PISTOL, or SHOTGUN. Topics covered in
course include firearm safety, basic marksmanship skills, cleaning, and storage. The cost
of this training program is $120 plus a $10 range fee. This training can be setup at your

NRA Rifle, Pistol & Shotgun Instructor Training - Our next instructor training course
will be starting on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 8 AM. The course is 40 hours. The
schedule for the remaining days will be determined at the first class so that it can fit into
everyone's schedule. The course will cover rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Our classroom is
located in Farmingdale, NY. The cost for the course is $550 plus $80 for course materials.
A non-refundable deposit will be needed for course materials. You can mail a check for
$80 made payable to FTI Inc. We also accept Pay Pal or any major credit card. For more

Firearms Training Institute
New York State Armed Security Guard Training - Our next armed guard course will be
starting on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 9 AM in Farmingdale, NY. This course is 47
hours and covers firearm safety, marksmanship skills, buying and using equipment,
cleaning of firearms, storage of firearms, flashlight techniques, use of cover and
concealment, reloading techniques, justification of the use of deadly physical force NYS
P.L. 35, and basic officer survival skills. There are two mandatory tests, one on the use of
force and the other on shooting skills. The cost is $550 which includes both classroom
and range instruction, and a certificate to apply for your NY State Armed Guard License.
Range fees are an additional $40. Ammunition is NOT included. Group discounts are

New York State Pre-Assignment Security Guard Training - Our next security guard
training course will be on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 9 AM in Farmingdale, NY.
This course is 8 hours in length and covers everything you need to become a New
York State licensed security guard. The cost is $80 which includes a certificate for your

New York State On-The-Job Security Guard Training - Our next training course will
be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 9:00 AM in Farmingdale, NY. This course is two
days and 16 hours in length. The second date will be determined at the first class so
that it will fit into everyone's schedule. This course is a NY State requirement for
security guards which needs to be complete within 90 days of taking the NYS
Pre-Assignment Course. The cost is $160 which includes a certificate. To reserve a

National Safety Council CPR & AED Training Course - Our next CPR / AED course
will be on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 7 PM in Farmingdale, NY. This course is 3.5
hours in length and covers all the new standards for CPR & AED. The cost is $30 plus
$20 for materials. To reserve a space a $20 nonrefundable deposit is required.
New York State Annual Armed Guard Refresher Training - Our next armed guard
refresher course will be on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 8 AM in Farmingdale, NY.
This course is an annual requirement to continue being registered as an armed guard
in New York State. The cost is $120 plus a $10 range fee. To reserve a space a $50

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home - Our next training course for Personal
Protection outside the Home will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 9 AM in
Farmingdale, NY. This course covers what to do and how to defend yourself and family if
someone attacks you outside your home. Use of cover and concealment will be
explained. It also covers NYS Penal Law article 35 regarding the use of force. The cost
is $250 which includes range fees, a NRA book on Personal Protection, and an NRA

firearm safe handling techniques, and the review of Federal and Utah State codes that
